Rated high because it's a great cooking wine that can be enjoyed with the meal. Perfect for pizza night too!

Tastey. Notes of smokey fruit, oak, some tannins. Nice for the price.

2011 vintage - too acidic and thin. Not much of flavor.

A low amount of Merlot somehow finds its way in the end on the palate- average wine for average price. Not a bad wine but nothing stands out

Wanted to like this a lot more than i did, still good though. Bite, no hits of sweetness, dry as a bone, but no real stand out, distinguishable traits

Aromas of vanilla, rhubarb, celery, cherry, and boysenberry. Along with some minerality. The vanilla fades pretty quick, and earthiness comes out more. Paired well with hard goat Gouda and prosciutto americano.
