Great wine for the price. Tastes like tart cherry, with a bit of black pepper and light smoke on the finish. I think the pepper and light smoke notes fade as the wine opens up, at which point I get mostly fruit with a tart finish. I like it. — 8 years ago

Smooth, delicious. Taste for me is cherry, sweet with a bit of tartness, and some light char from the barrel. It'd be easy to polish off a bottle. — 8 years ago
