A red blend from northern Italy. Not sure what grapes are in it but strong suspicion there is most Barbera as there is intense fruit upfront. Subtle, light tannin structure carries the wine to the finish.

Dec 17th, 2022Piedmont blend of Barbera (60%), Castagnole Monferrato (30%) and Grignolino (10%). Lovely nose of cherry, licorice, and blackberry. Lots of almost sweet cherry fruit and baking spices on the pallet. Silky tannins and light to medium body. Alcohol only 13.5%. Easy drinker!Probably best with lighter fare and appetizers.

Aug 30th, 2020Rich red color, with some cherries and raspberries notes, a little sweet, but not sweet that would prevent from serving with a nice light dinner, will drink well on its own, light body with a simple but very smooth finish.
