Luscious Barbera, dark cherry, beautifully balanced with a lengthy finish where the acidity is rounded

An awesome surprise presented for my last Birthday by my Brother. Great fruitful taste with fine notes of dark chocolate. Definitely worth to lookup an get more on stock.

So much deeper flavor than expected. But so good.

2011 on Jan 25, 2017. Beautiful expression of the grape. Cherry, cedar with a lengthy but rounded finish.

At 4 years, this wine has just entered its prime. Almost port-like nose with dried dates, and a prickling amount of alcohol. Roundness on the tongue is indulging, yet the aftertaste is somewhat challenging. Sourness at first but is quiets down and leaves a long lasting taste of smoked wood.

Spicy, elegant and complex at the same time, a delicious cherry note. Great!
