Another bloody delicious drop, from Molly Dooker. Affordable, big, full, long finish.

Deep dark purple in the glass. Explosive nose with blueberry compote and hint of lavender. The palate has a nice blend of cherry cola, blueberry and soft vanilla. Surprisingly well integrated tannins. Nice finish. Great #QPR as always.

As an aside, this is the youngest, freshest Mollydooker I've had. I did the shake and then several hours later came back to the original off-pour that hadn't had the shake. Wow. Huge difference. I also noticed that they changed the label to correspond with what they've said for years. Shake if opening first two years.

Lots of mint coming through in the Cabernet. A touch astringent on the tannin compared to the merlot or Shiraz.

7/29/16 "Bottle Shock" showing. This is the preferable Mollydooker over The Boxer.
