If you like fruity, high alcohol, jam like wines this is your thing. It tastes like a blueberry pie and a coconut cream pie had a baby. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it. Appealed to the hedonist in me

2013 vintage. Deep, dark and lovely. The nose doesn't explode like I was expecting it, in fact it was a very refined nose full of bitter chocolate, black pepper, black plum, some savory sage notes, and a touch of...graphite? It's a smell of an earthy element that isn't quite earthy to me.

Paired with a charred filet and was wonderful. The heat is more evident without food bit still fairly hot. It's still a nicely made wine that has dark black and red fruits that coat your tongue and layer themselves rather than explode. I'm super impressed with this and want more.
