Dark Ruby with aromas of fresh crushed berry fruit with earthy tones. On the palate cherry and blackberry flavors with pepper spice, tobacco and cacao on fine dusty tannins. Long finish, nice mouthfeel, ending with fruit and an oak mineral character. Nice!

The high ABV should have been an indicator that this would have bite, but was thrown off by the twist off cap. Can imagine it would have done well aging another 5-10 years but hard to do that properly without a cork...

Fruity and oaky. We get a honey tone from it. SO gets a nice warm feeling on the tummy from it.

Beautiful finish.

So... I drew blood opening this bottle. Maybe my fault. So I'm not optimistic...

All of the Mollydooker wines are big, bigger, and biggest....so not surprising that this is big and kinda one dimensional. Big dark fruits dominate at this point in its life.
