Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz

Slick power but no depth. Kind of like a really physical attractive person that has nothing to talk about or interesting to say.

Nice dark color. Nose of red & blue fruits and violets. Nicely ripened; blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, crushed stones, soft leather, underbrush, black cherry licorice, medium body and beautiful mellow acidity. Tasted like a warm vintage.

The epitome of what vintage variation can do for a wine. The structure is nothing but a balance of fruit and acid. I'd drink this before the '14. Much more food friendly, in my opinion.

Big ass fruit biggity-bomb...but it has enough style to make it fun by itself.

One of my favorite red wine brands from Australia. Rich and full bodied. Expensive but worth it.

Bold, complex, intense but also very smooth. Really enjoyed this one.

Lovely wine. Had this on a picnic. Best enjoyed in real glasses however and with a nice bloody steak or Burger. Wonderful Australian fruit bomb.

Maybe needs more cellaring??

Rich, jam-like, complex. Starts with bilberry, blackberry, raspberry and pomegranate. Later vacuum-dried strawberry, resin / pitch, sawn end, hints of tobacco.
