2014 is on point. Having had the last few vintages of this Cuvée I would definitely say this is showing the best. The Pommard structure that is always so pronounced is softened by an almost raspberry sweet tart fruit and soft leafy earthiness. Not just quaffable but crushable. It's not going to win any awards for complexity but as far as pleasure goes it's a keeper.

There is still value and QPR to be found with #bourgognerouge . Drank exactly how I expected, midway between fruit and a totally savory style. Gotta love family members who bring over a nice bottle.

Very pleased that this 2015 is drinkable on the last day of 2017. Definitely a good value burgundy. Nice fruit and pine/sage on the nose. Dry and a little earthy. It’s not super complex but for the price of 20-something a bottle I have no regrets.

Strong quaffer. More of a simple Merlot vibe than Pinot, but a charmer nonetheless. An uncle you wouldn't mind sitting next to at dinner.
