Not typically a huge fan of the sweeter stuff, normally a brut drinker, but this is good when paired with salty desserts. Pale yellow, with some floral aromatics dancing out. Great bubbles. Medium bodied. Honeyed pears, apricots, green apples proliferating through each sip. Not much to disagree with.

Demi-sec isn’t my go-to (will always prefer brut nature), but this is nice for a change. Old school style. Not so sweet, just some “nectar” on the finish. A very soft Champagne that is probably more crowd-pleasing than something sharp and focused.

Apples, peaches, light bodied, delicious. Easy to tell why proper champagne makes the difference! Apparently this is the one the queen drinks every night before bed too.
