Interestingly, the 2009 Extra Brut Grand Vintage Rosé is quite a bit tighter and pointed than the Blanc. Here, it is the wine’s energy and tension that stand out most. It will be interesting to see if the 2009 gains a bit more volume over time. Even today, though, the 2009 is beautifully resonant and expressive, with striking vinous intensity driving through to the finish. Brilliant. Slight strawberry nose, tart flavors, great acid and mellowed by the creaminess..paired with hard cheeses.

This dry, serious rosé has a strong orange peel flavor that reminds me of Campari. It went very well with pulled pork. Does at 5g/l and composed of 46% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 22% Meunier.

Aged 11 years on lees. Rust/Salmon color in the glass. Earth-driven aromatics with dried cranberry, strawberry, raspberry. Dry and complex on the palate, very refined. Medium length finish.

Yes it's commercial but yes it's grand!! A gorgeous scent, salmon pink colour, well structured & full bodied on the palate but just oozing grace with tiny little beads.

Succulent and full of ripe red berries with great acidity. Healthy structure, could age for a few more years.
