It’s great to see @wineselectors stocking some of the lesser known grape varieties. I love a bit of Vermentino so this Mitolo from McLaren Vale was a lovely surprise to find in the case they sent me to try out.

Mitolo are well regarded for producing Vermentino. This specific one is exclusive to Wine Selectors.

It’s a straw colour in the glass with dried flowers, wild honey and dehydrated navel orange pieces on the nose. In the mouth it’s juicy and tastes like a bowl of delicate fruits decorated with edible flowers and drizzled with a hint of honey. Yummy!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample

Love it, one of the best whites I have had recently. Tropical fruit / citrus, complexity, really suits me.

Over ripe stone fruit, honey, slight bit of pleasant salinity
