Got some heavy acidity with green unripeness somewhere. Rest of the wine carries it through. Decant thoroughly.

4hr decant to blow away the acidity (tough vintage) and yum, the chocolate flavours shine.

Smokey, toasty aromas are met with brambleberry, black licorice and cracked pepper. Plenty of zip on the pallet with fresh blackrasberry flavors and a slight piecrust note. Tannins are integrated and balanced, this is in a sweet spot now.

Intriguing notes on the palate. Little bit of spice to it. Very enjoyable, highly recommended for a wine that has a lot of "bang for its buck"
