Apr 14th, 2020Once again I ponder as to why this winery gets all these accolades. This particular bottle was void of everything I come to appreciate in a BC Pinot Noir. Lacked the ripe and bright fruit of berries and fell flat on the finish..actually void of any finish. Perhaps a bad bottle... I hope so because at this point time I will spend my dollars elsewhere.

Sep 15th, 2018We bought this bottle at the Cirque Restaurant with dinner at the Lizard Creek Lodge. Ordered to match a superb Alberta beef tenderloin this was my second choice since they were out of the Napa Pinot. Expecting nothing more than an enjoyable meal accompaniment this wine got our attention. From its opening elegant aromas of raspberry, blackberries, subtle hints of sage and spices to its oaked finish of pepper and cloves this bronze winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2016 punches well above its weight. At $25.00 CAD this balanced long legged Okanagan Valley Pinot is a find. 13% alc/vol. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦

Nov 10th, 2017Sniffy Sniff: Raspberry, black fruit and spicy notes. Swirl: Smooth as silk, ripe red berries and a spicy tinge on the back end. This is really good Pinot for my palate. Wow. P.S. Somehow I found the stash on my porch today without signing. I will use this wine shop again for sure eh! 🇨🇦
