This is a blend with Merlot in it. Also aged in French Oak barreás for 14 month, not the American Oak of most Spanish wines. Cute label with pink-lavender triangle above the white part. Aged. Smells of cut wood and wet decomposing leaves from an oak. Tea tree and herbal essence oils too. But of berries. Flavors are round and ripe. Hint of mint. Dry and chewy. Hasn’t lost a bit in the aging. Elegant and full bodied. This has plenty of cheerful cherry and some nice bittersweetness. With the style on the bottle and the stuff inside it’s a great buy.
