Absolutely terrific representation of Syrah. Nose was blooming from the moment it entered the decanter. 20 months French oak and it shows. Everything about this wine is deep - nose, palate, color. Rich bouquet of blueberry, black plum, graphite, crushed gravel, vanilla, salty caramel, smoked meats and white pepper. Absolutely zero rough edges, the palate is large and round with supple smooth tannins. Finish goes forever.

Very nice and approachable. Lets the Syrah shine with dark berries and wood. Was a good buy at $39.
