Sierra Foothills Grenache

Came off a bit hot from the alcohol but good texture. Not as much upfront fruit as I would have thought. Still enjoyable minus the heat.

Juicy nose of red fruit punch, and sweet vanilla. Flavorful on entry, with lots of berry fruit, augmented with some minerally tones. It's got a lot of body, but it lacks concentration in the mid palate so the alcohol shows through a bit. Good to wash down rustic pasta dishes.

Same feelings as last time this was in the mystery case. Very light and nondescript. Nose was a little tinny. Drank after a Pinot and could hardly taste this.

Still only ok.

Ok. Another mystery case wine. We’ve had before and wasn’t our favorite compared to others. Light and a bit non descript.

Still didn’t love this the second time around. Strange tasting notes and very light in color. Skip next time.

Not super impressed with this. Tried for a lower priced option and to see more of their wines but very and almost too light in color and taste. Cherry medicine on the finish which did open and decrease as we moved further into the bottle. Would probably skip next time.

Solid. Easy drinking Grenache. I think this is in a good place right now. Nice strawberry and tart cherry aromas, medium bodied, pretty well balanced and nice acidity. Shortish finish but otherwise very good.

Heavy on the mouth with a strong taste of alcohol..... vanilla, cinnamon, peppercorn and strawberry take over from there.
Decanted for 60 minutes. Had with Indian food.

This is one of my favorites. Light in color, medium (sort of heavy) in the mouth, but so much flavor!
