Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

Color me impressed. I haven’t found many Miner wines I’ve enjoyed, so maybe I’m just not giving them enough time? Strutting beautifully right now. Older fig, dirty blackberries, espresso and sweet tobacco aromatics followed by a dense mid palate full of dark fruit, sandalwood and baked black cherry pie. Evolving really nicely...not sure it gets any better, so drink up.

Sweet spice, cedar sap, sandalwood shavings, dark berries and all the sneaky paced mischief of a half bottle format..."where'd that go?"
"Let's have another!"

Solid Oakville Cabernet. A touch too green for my liking which I found odd given the vintage and vineyard location.

Miner family lineup. Loving them.

1996 vintage. Yum. Holding up very well.

This not a bad Oakville (Stagecoach?? really??) wine / going down well.

Loved this. Light on its feet with plenty more to give down the road. Napa cab for Volnay fans?

Tons of glorious napa valley fruit . Macerated blueberries, ripe blackberries , cigar box and spice. Tannins were supple and silky. Worth the wait.

In mag. Intended as a decoy wine so I could drink the Maybach. Performing quite well.....saving the Maybach for mañana.
