A lot of complexity given from the French oak as well.
I reckon the fruit was not as powerful as it should have been for the oak.
Already tertiary notes.
Very good, but i wouldn't mind to feel the purity of the fruit a bit more in a Tassie Pinot.
I might be wrong, just a personal opinion

Pale peach on the eye. Raspberries and strawberries in cream on the nose with a fresh lemongrass whiff. Juicy and fresh, light and elegant. Yum!

We bought this today on our way up to Freycient National Park 🏞️
We stopped at the Milton cellar door which is lovely and idyllic and I have to admit the wines weren’t too bad - we bought half a case!
This Pinot Noir is a cherry red colour in the glass. Notes of cherry cola, baking spice and oak dominate the nose for me. While in the mouth it’s juicy, light and incredibly moreish. It weighs in at 13.8% so very much an iron fist in a velvet glove type of wine 🍷
