Le Pierrier Mercurey Pinot Noir

Very dark rubi robe, like a Bordeaux. Modern in style and very extracted, but not excessive. Rich, flamboyant but with good balance and acidity. Its really good wine and fantastic QPR.

Delicious esp for price. Bought at katonah wine store

More primary and fruit forward than expected but that calmed some with air. Hold or decant if drinking now.

Simple... enjoyable even though one dimensional

Bit chunky and oaky but very true aromas and body.

Very good. Have had this a number of times. Pairs with everything. Grilled Bell & Evans chicken, snap peas, soba noodles, 360 peanut sauce and kikkoman soy sauce. Simple, lean dish.
