Cuvée Grégory Brut Champagne Blend

While it comes from near the Côte des blancs, this cuvée is blanc de noirs (Pinot noir with about 5% meunier). It is exactly what you want from grower Champagne- assertive with both quality and a point of view. There is red fruit body to this wine and considerable ripeness do you not only get lemon, apple, brioche and pear, you get hints of raspberry and strawberry and a soft minerality that is irresistible.

Almost Blanc de Blancs but citrusy and delicious.

Not familiar with this producer, but really expressing the Vertus terroir, I'm going to look out for this one.

Brioche, get baked son! Lemon lime chalk

Buttered brioche on the nose, creamy palate, gentle acidity, hints of apple

Pruney nose, lots of bread and yeast. I prefer a fresher Champagne, but this aged one is still kicking. Holiday party time.

Based on 2014.

You don’t hear about 2005 in Champagne but this was a beautiful bottle. Full and and redolent of peaches and apples.

Lovely Champagne, Buttery 1er cru

100% chardonnay, premier cru, grower champagne.
Crackers and brioche. Creamy texture balanced with very persistent bubble.
