Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, spice, oak and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plum and cherry with smoky vanilla oak, pepper and cacao wrapped in generous acidity. Fine sweet tannins, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, cedar, spice and slight earthy tones. Good value!

This wine is completely dark, in color, aromas and taste. On the nose, loads of big, black, burly, brambly fruit, with a healthy dollop of smoky sage and what I can only call burnt cinnamon. The palate offers brawn and blackberries paving a roadway for licorice and spice. Pair it with anything off the grill, especially tri-tip or rib eye.

Deep purple in color with a short purplish rim.

Sweet nose of cherry pie, sweet plums, black currants, dried figs, blackberries, raisins, earth, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, medicine, coffee, chocolates and peppercorn.

Full-bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate, and extremely fruity, with blackberries, black plums, raisins, sweet cherries, dried figs, cooked strawberries, vanilla, cloves, cedar, spices, earth, light vegetables, herbs, beef jerky and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins, tangy cranberries and bitter vegetables.

This California Zinfandel, from the house of Michael David, is always enjoyable. Well-balanced with mild complexity.

Good as a sipping wine and for parties. Good right out of the bottle, and better as it opens up.

I enjoyed sipping on it, all by itself, by the pool. Would also pair nicely with BBQ lamb or a burger. Might be too fruity for some...

15% alcohol by volume.

Very different for a Zinfandel, almost as big as a traditional Cab. Awesome flavor with a little zing on the finish. Would DEFINITELY buy again, I haven't been anything but impressed with his wines

Awesome wine. Really glad I got to try it again. Deep, rich, complex flavor with a silky smooth finish. Would buy anytime if it wasn't expensive lol
