Seleccion Rebecca Herrera Cabernet Sauvignon

Should’ve drunk this a few years ago but still quite good

Had a feeling this was ready to drink and now can’t imagine waiting.

Fantastic big cab from Rolando Herrera

First taste of the 2011. Wow.

This is the 2006 Carpignano vineyard ANV blend. A big wine. A cellar treasure for years to come.

Well-made but just too intense. An overpowering Cabernet Sauvignon that will never lose its intensity with aging. Disappointing at its high price.

Took about 60 minutes to start opening up but loads of depth on this one. Dark dark fruit and present but not over persistent polished tannins.

Big, bold and smooth. Great nose (tobacco and cherry), silky and long finish. Loved it.

Had this with Dinner and it was a massive wine but not high in tannin just big brooding black and blue fruit. Velvety mouthfeel and a very smooth finish. Not sure this one ages well drink up. 100 case production.

Hererra Rebecca Selection 2011 from Mi sueño winery was the only wine at the wine auction 2013 that I thought was absolutely amazing!!!
