I was very pleased with this Pinot Noir from Merryvale! On the nose, earth, cranberry, cherry, and black currant. On the palate bright red fruit (cherries, strawberry) dusty earth, leather, black licorice, and cinnamon finish. Very smooth to enjoy on its own but has a fair amount of tannins to pair with a meal as well!

Jun 1st, 2016A solid Chardonnay, but creamier than what I care for. On the nose, popcorn, pear, lemon, and lime. On the palate, nutty, Meyer lemon, good acidity, and a creme brûlée finish. This is a wine I would enjoy more paired with a meal.
