Merryvale Vineyards
Stanly Ranch Estate Pinot Noir

Light but with a nice finish of spice. Very little after taste. Strong fruit.

Nice wine with great fruit and berries. Also paired with pork tenderloin. Delicious! A bit pricey but a nice treat.

Aug 5th, 2016I was very pleased with this Pinot Noir from Merryvale! On the nose, earth, cranberry, cherry, and black currant. On the palate bright red fruit (cherries, strawberry) dusty earth, leather, black licorice, and cinnamon finish. Very smooth to enjoy on its own but has a fair amount of tannins to pair with a meal as well!

Jun 1st, 2016A solid Chardonnay, but creamier than what I care for. On the nose, popcorn, pear, lemon, and lime. On the palate, nutty, Meyer lemon, good acidity, and a creme brûlée finish. This is a wine I would enjoy more paired with a meal.

Absolutely Delicious!! Paired with smoked chicken wings. Great fruit and a touch of acid. In a blind tasting it would more than hold its own.
