Not overly ripe. Great texture, ripeness, everything in its place. Great value.

Bright, juicy and rich on the palate with loads of spice. Flavors of fleshy black plums, black cherries, and a touch of pomegranate leads to nice spice, a touch of herbs and cedar and very soft tannins all balanced out by soft acidity. The finish is long and juicy with bright, lingering acidity and baking spice. Pairs with Emeril's pork candy ribs and mac and cheese. Delicious!

Blackcurrant, fig, roasted coffee bean, and light fresh herbs on the nose. Some red berry fruits still lingers around on the smooth palate. Resolved tannins. In its prime.
