Mar 15th, 2024Not the Cabernet that I was expecting. Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) but with one Syrah (17%) and Merlot (3%) blended in. Aromas of black pepper, tobacco and baking spices with a slight floral note. Red/black cherry fruit dominates the palate with additional notes of vanilla, fresh herbs and roasted nuts. Fine tannins and nice balance. Quite tertiary. Excellent QPR. Appreciate the wonderful gift, Tom W.

Caramel and chocolate on the nose. A little sweet upfront but it’s got some spice on the finish. Nothing too special though
