Aug 25th, 2021Wowza. I had only tried Melville's (excellent) pinots before and this is just as good. A strong smell of leather promises a big, tough, tasty wine and they totally nailed it. Did they fry bacon in blueberry syrup? And for all the alcohol (14.5%), the black pepper is held in check through the end.
