This is one silky, sexy wine - 67% whole cluster means adult tannins, aging potential and an alluring spiciness. The nose is big (cloves, tart cherries) but inviting and the taste... oh, the taste. Candied strawberries, rhubarb and white peppercorns. Might be even better in a year or two.

2019 vintage. Melville Pinot is usually best for early drinking, and this is no exception, but with a brief decant, this Pinot shows excellent bright red and blue fruits, good balance, and a really nice finish. Bravo Melville.

Classic Melville pinot. Opened it in celebration, as 2016 was the last time until now when we were all sans Trump in the White House. Delicious!
