Cab Franc done so well. 400 cases produced. 53% Franc and 47 Merlot. Both play well together. Some what fleshy in its approach tannins present as the Franc speaks. Nose of mashed currants and dusty roads. Mouth-coating richness of herbs de province, dash of spice and farm fresh blackberries. Finish is dense and chewy.

Nice blend of CF (51%) and ME (49%). A bit of a good change from cab.

At home catching up on logging in the consumed wines. Should have decanted this one. I’m not a decanting fan, but sometimes it needs to be done, I’m just unable to figure it out in time. This is a BIG, tasty wine that took an hour to shine.

The high rating might be because I’ve been starved for upscale wines while stranded in Houston without my home cellar but this tasted awesome tonight. Could also be the awesome food at one of our favorite BYOB restaurants in the city. I’m a bit confused by the Knights Valley mention as well as Sonoma County???

$15 corkage at this farm to table brewery/restaurant. Enjoyed with interesting food selections; avocado toast, bacon burger, garlic pizza and goat cheese salad....all wonderful selections for this wine. 51% CF, 49% ME.
