Notable 2009 vintage, iconic wine. Perfumed minty nose, fragrant mouth...can you say that? Peppercorn, bright red fruit. Lovely wine.

Apr 21st, 2016Notes of black currant, cherry on the front of the palate. Medium balanced tannins. The wine is extremely well balanced, refined and continues to open up hour after hour as it breathes. Delicious and will definitely buy and age again.

Aug 29th, 2020My first experience with this wine. Drinkable now but has a few years left. There's something I can't quite place that makes this different (perhaps South African terroir?) from similar wines. Typical cabernet dominated nose and mouthfeel but there's a hint of brick... I don't mean the color in the glass, but rather the taste has a note of masonry. I've never licked a brick, but if I did, I suspect it would be a little like this only far less tasty.
