The Can Franc still needs some time to soften; not sure if it will handle much more cellar time. Acidity is low on the palate, but still reserved at 14%. Otherwise drinking solidly at this point, with velvety tannins.

Delicious Bordeaux blend with classic aromas of green olive and dried leaves. Taste of fall.

Unreal! Silky smooth and so perfect with all courses across fish and meat dishes. Full but delicate enough to really enhance the food

Wow. Smoky taste, deep rich flavour to this red wine beast. Very drinkable at the same time with a good complexity.

Really excited to find this. Went in looking for aged Bordeaux walked out with a famed South African Bordeaux blend. Very complex smelled a tad green and herbal on the nose but ended up being very well rounded on the palate. Blackberry, leather, black tea, smoke, and some dusty herbal earthy notes are well supported hefty yet smooth tannins through the firm finish. Pretty clear why some refer to it as a South African "first growth."
