This is a nice Chardonnay from Los Carneros in Sonoma County.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing oak, vanilla, spices, citrus, lemons, apples, pears, light earth, bitter herbs and white pepper.

Medium finish with almonds and black pepper.

This 4 year old Chardonnay is still drinking nicely, and will continue to age nicely in the next few years. I had it a couple of years ago, and liked it better now.

Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Creamy and elegant.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself. Will pair nicely with food too.

100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in (25% new) French oak barrels. A small production of only 9 barrels.

A NHSLS purchase, not up to the finer Carneros examples, and not one we would go to vs. the better Willamette chardonnay.
