Bought this bottle on sale at Cub Foods in Hastings, Minnesota for $9.99. Shared it with Adam’s mom and dad and we all loved it! It was definitely a little jammy and fruit forward, medium bodied with a hint of tannins at the end. Very drinkable and pretty smooth. I would definitely buy this bottle again!

I’ve followed this wine since 2004. It was unbelievably good at that time (2002 vintage). Like most really nice wines that get popular, as the price goes up, the quality goes down. Sadly, that is how I’ve viewed McManis wines for about the last 10 years. Out of nostalgia I bought this Lodi Estate Grown Cab 2018 at Walmart for $11.99. Wow, I thought it was 2004 again. I’m going back to Wally World tomorrow to get more. This is GREAT wine at this price point.

Dark berry immediately and smoky finish. Mocha or tobacco in the middle. Medium body and light tannins. Enjoyed this one.

We have been drinking this cab for several years, one of our favorite go to wines, never disappointing. We buy it by the case. It is good enough for a special occasion too.

Surprising good bought on a whim. Cheap. Too cheap? Need another bottle to decide.
