Dec 26th, 2016Still a big wine, even with the age. Great cab franc nose, pencil shavings, rustic spice, med-plus tannin and pretty cherry compote fruit. Always a sucker for these, even if they're not my atypical style.

Oct 12th, 2016Pencil shavings, raspberry preserve, iron minerality, and an earthy/vegetal note on the back end. Awesome pencil notes on the palate with pretty berry fruit. Tannins are just right. Finally waited the correct time for a wine :)

Good varietal character: green peppers and cherries, plenty of oak. Paired nice with steak and sautéed kale.
