The winemaker has packed a quart into a pint pot. Palette consists of jam, nutmeg, black olives, toast, and a hint of truffles. A huge fruit-bomb that I suggest you pair with you wife, or significant other. Stay home and switch the cellphones to silent...

Slightly confected. Sweet red fruit.

Didn't see a lot of reviews of this vintage but I thought it was fantastic. Didn't decant but not sure it needed it.

Amarone on the nose. Raisins, prunes on the nose. The palate is an uncontrolled explosion of fruit. Deep, dark berries, maple syrup, spice. @Martin G Rivard
