Definitely prefer these with 5+ additional years on them. An undeniably great, detailed wine, but so structured and solidly built as to be completely lacking charm at this point.

A solid new California chard. Prefer them with a bit more age. Good but somehow hollow.

Beautiful hints of lemon wheat oak lemon zest even wet grass. Not buttery like a typical Chardonnay. Dramatic and tart. In 3-5 years it'll be even better. In 10 it could be epic
