Great dark fruits on thw nose, drinking very well for being young. Could use some time to round out.

Dec 14th, 2014Beautiful ruby rust, full bodied, cherries and licorice with good acidity, well balanced, best Barolo I’ve had!

Nov 13th, 2024Full bodied, good backbone. Enjoyable, but not a particularly good value.

Dec 26th, 2021Opened on a whim, probably need to decant longer as it opened up well. Earth, blackberries, leather books, might be sunflower seeds too. It was very nice. Kinda wishing I had more.

Dec 9th, 2020Deep ruby hue with garnet rim variation. Intensely fragrant nose with ripe black fruit, such as plum, cassis, blackberry, and spice, especially black licorice, anise, nutmeg, dried oregano, molasses, tobacco, and wet earth.
.
.
Palate is dry, tart, full-bodied, with medium+ acidity, medium tannins, and a long, lingering finish.
.
.
This wine could stand more time in the bottle, but is very approachable at the moment, especially with some time decanting.

Barolo, 💯 Nebbiolo. Vintage 2015. ABV 14.5%.
