The fruit on this thing is ridiculous. So vibrant and pure. Dark cherry and zingy purple berries (David Crosby!). Crushed granite lurking in the background. So mouthfillingly fruity on the palate. But it’s got really electric, integrated acids. None of the slight disjointedness or astringent/bitter notes I’ve had in other ‘22s. Not super complex but I’m here for the fruit on this one!

Jul 30th, 2021Sour cherry, leather, hay. Very nice nose, very engaging and inviting. The palate is well made with a good acid drive, a nice bright sour cherry note, it's rather thin than broad, a bit of tannins in the rear, leaving a layer of gentle disruption over a long and bright cherry finish. It's a very good Beaujolais in a subtle, precise style.

Mar 8th, 2020I found this bottle Beaujolais Cru on the clearance rack and absolutely enjoyed it. Very well balanced with fruit and terroir. Nice oak integration for body and tannin. I'm going back for more
