Haven’t had this Syrah from mathiasson before. Quite dark fruited with some olive, pepper, and earth. Overall pretty restrained. Acid and tannin both probably medium / medium minus. Long finish with some balanced bitterness.

A year in the cellar sorted this out. Sonoma county fruit but drinks like cooler climate / Sonoma Coast. Very nice. 13.5% // up one tick on night two.
