Big dark fruits, nice acidity that did not make the wine to syrupy.

Sep 24th, 2018I can appreciate the effort but earlier picked Zin lacks a few things that I think make a red Zinfandel most enjoyable. It might be early to drink this on my part (and I have a slight sensitivity to tannin right now with a lower sinus infection), but the tannin was a little raw imo. Good acidity and fresh fruit, just out of balance on the finish with the gnarly, chewy, dry tannin. 🇺🇸🦃🍷

Sep 7th, 2018PnP. Paired nicely with BLT’s on brioche buns. Lovely transparent purple color. Restrained and low OH. Subtle oak and dark fruit. Pretty average Zin all around.

Feb 27th, 2023PnP. Transparent red color. Restrained nose with subtle floral tones and earthiness. Wine has minimal fruit and is very light. Really lacks umph. Short finish. Pretty mediocre.
