Very different style than the home vineyard. This may see a touch of skin contact but was in the brighter more linear style of ribolla also made in northern Italy. Very enjoyable.

Was expecting an orange color but this is subtle gold, translucent, and almost clear. Muted nose with subtle pineapple. Not much flavor on the palate. Might be in a super weird spot.

Nice but not quite at the same level as some of the previous ribolla’s I’ve had from matthiasson. Just a bit too light / lacking in depth to be higher - but still has some nice light fruit and good minerality.

Jul 17th, 2025Different vineyard and style of Ribolla Gialla I’m used to from Matthiasson. Light gold color which is much different from the orangish I was expecting. A mix of Chard and Riesling. Melons dominated with refreshing tartness. Great on a hit summer evening!
