Needs the time! Enjoyable, no pretense, cabernet wine by a great young Napa Valley farmer with a multigenerational history

Julien Fayard, winemaker for Covert Estate, Azur, Taplin Cellars, Matthew Wallace and more, stopped by Fort Worth tonight to showcase a few different wines. A pleasure to meet and share wines with!

The nose on this alone had me sold. Quintessential Stag’s Leap with the deep espresso, dark chocolate, dusty aromas. Definitely some sweetness on the nose...graham cracker, smoked blueberries, and Mexican vanilla. The palate, from start to finish, is just a powerhouse of blue and black fruits mixed with baking spices, cocoa dusted dates and plum. I’d have no problem pop and pouring this.

Recommend by the Sommelier as a great pairing to Filet Minion. He was right on. Immediately pleasing from first sip to last. Full fruit, balanced and nice depth.

Such a great wine. If you like big, fruit-forward, silky wines that punch well above their price point this is one for you. Lots of berries and vanilla on the nose, lush black and red fruit, hint of minerality, sweet tannins with a long finish. Made by Julien Fayard (winemaker at Purlieu - another great wine), this **easily** holds its own with wines costing 2x as much.

Regusci Block 1 Vineyard. A very balanced wine that can be drank now or cellared. Fruit forward wine with hints of candied fruit, plums and currants
