Beautiful dry style nose. White citrus; lemon, lime, grapefruit cut grass, green bean, some cream, white & yellow florals.
The body is round and fuller. The palate is dry. White citrus; lemon, lime, grapefruit cut grass, green bean, some cream, saline, white & yellow florals. Nice grippy soft minerals, nice round acidity, round polish finish.

Beautiful example of Sauv Blanc. Zesty and fresh with a blend of lychees and grapefruit on the nose. Lively on the palette, with a strong, persistent finish. Excellent for the summer.

This wine the 2021 EQ Coastal Sauvignon Blanc I had a few days ago. From Matetic Winery D.O. Valle de Casablanca Viñedo Valle Hermoso, Chile.
On the nose there was passion fruit, lime, grapefruit, white peach, asparagus, cut grass, flint and minerality.
On the palate there is grapefruit, lime, white peach, cut grass, asparagus, herbaceousness, green pepper, salinity, spice and minerality.
This wine is medium bodied with medium to medium + acidity that moves nicely into a long citrus fruit grapefruit mineral saline finish. Have a great week and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

This could use the additional information of being from the Viñedo Valle Hermoso, just to add that in. It’s all herbs and asparagus served on a plate of chalk and all that just sounds like...too much. But? They pull it off with aplomb. I’ve always been a minimalist but somehow this wine is maximalist and minimalist? I don’t know how they do it but it’s very good.
