Winninger Hamm Riesling

Deeper-toned nose than many Rieslings shows bitter-edged apple and intense slate. A relatively fleshy mouthfeel carries intense flavors of crushed stone and bitter apple skins. Acidity is soft. Finish is pretty lengthy. The bitterish character would make this shine with sweet shellfish like grilled shrimp or seared scallops .

Gorgeous nose of herbs, citrus, lemon, grapefruit, slate infused minerality. Lovely yellow fruits. Palate is ripe and tense with lovely mineral purity and freshness. Good texture and lovely grapefruit fruit. Nice acid spine and hint of the lower mosel creaminess but superbly mineral and wonderfully dry. Love this.

Stunning. More precise and focused than Koberner. Tight, taut, backwards, lean and mineral. I like. Citrus, stone fruits, lemon candy, herbal, floral, very complex. Super mineral as well. Dry tree bark as all sorts of herbs and natural forest scents. It unfurls incredibly. Super aromatic and notable complexity. Palate is terrifically juicy and also very structured. So dense and complex with terrific structure and purity. What depth! Wow. Like a skyscraper in structure, but so skinny, nimble and clean. So pure and electric with nice richness on the finish. This is young and has so much going for it. Structure of a top GG. Unreal complexity and endless depth. I can’t wait to see where this ends up.
