Medium-bodied, well-balanced Cab. Dark berries, currant, tobacco, cedar. Paired with pasta alla marinara (which is just really fun to say!); not exactly a mind-blowing pairing, but it worked - though a meaty Bolognese sauce would probably stand up better to this wine.

A bit hot and woody. I wrote that and then I saw it was called Match Book. Hahahahaha. Anyway, with this one I think the fruit is taking a back seat to the oakiness. Pleasant enough. I think this is one to drink now. This would be a good wine to include if comparing different styles of California Cab one evening. Hot and woody. Hahahahaha.

Realllly good with cool ranch Doritos (admittedly most things are). Pretty mild, not too dry, good fruit.
