Awesome, bright and vivid cherry. Cherry cough drop. Ripe, minty. Feral and gamey. Very generous and giving. A little broad but nice. Palate is juicy and elegant but also a bit broad. Some heat as well. Not as good as last bottle.

Nose has tremendous spice and minerality. A bit feral and gamey as well. Lovely mint and soppy cherries. But super mineral. Love the unique aromas here. Palate is supple with lovely freshness and purity. Tannins are significant but ripe. Good length and persistence. Balance is terrific and the tannins are ripe and slatey. Lacks a hint of lift but is so up front this is ideal for a restaurant wine list.
