I was a bit disappointed in how simple this Valpolicella turned out to be. For a Classico I wanted a bit more depth but it was enjoyable in a very straightforward way. Red fruit, leather and a hint of earth wrapped up with a medium-short finish

Ripe fruit. Touch of almond extract. Smooth and simple. A bit of residual sugar, surprisingly.
