Nose is blackberries and slight hint of vanilla some baking spice coming through. On the palate, full on blackberries citrus and meaty (?) I normally drift to cabs so this wine is something out of the norm and my palate says the same. Theres something different but enticing.

Dec 27th, 2019Purplish in color. Aroma of black cherries, pepper, and leather. A bit of an earthy fruit flavor. Not quite as smooth as I prefer, but still a nice wine overall.

Sep 3rd, 2019Earthy — leather, tobacco, black pepper, and more acidic than big fruit. Hints of black cherries and blackberries, but more dark chocolate/cocoa notes than fruit. On paper there’s a lot to love, but it doesn’t quite come together in harmony. Maybe more time in the bottle will help it.
