Smooth and easy. Pairs well with my sofa and favorite TV show. A nice everyday, after-work Malbec.

Dark purple in color, Pretty big nose, brambly dark blackberry, rosebush, and very oaky on the nose.. 9 months in both American and French oak. On the palate, smooth dark fruit and vanilla make way to noticeably soft tannins and a warm, smooth finish of at least 25-30 seconds. Fairly nice wine for $11.. Or in my case, free ;)

Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, plums, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, mocha, smoke, barnyard, vegetables, red candy and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, blueberries, currants, vanilla, cloves, oak, vegetables, bitter herbs and black pepper.

Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

This is a simple Malbec from Mendoza. Almost balanced and a little tart, with a light mouthfeel. Gentle and a bit watery.

Needs a couple of hours to open up, which I didn't have.

A little light for an Argentinian Malbec. The nose reminds me of a South American Pinot Noir, actually.

I paired it with a cheese plate.

Aged in French and American Oak for 9 months.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Deep red with dark berry fruit aromas and herb spice. On the palate blackberry and plum with pepper spice and a touch of alcohol burn. Grainy tannins, rough around the edges. Pass. Tasting Sample.

A well-balanced Argentinian Malbec at a great value.
